When edit or refresh version etc I get multiple version of tab and can not clear then….Kiri will not work for me with the multiples and I can no delete them…..If I wait a while they disappear. I try to restart the computer no joy ….have read other thread and no joy ….seems like it might be a server or bandwidth issue your end…
You have multiple Kiri tabs in a document and you can’t delete the tab? I think this is an Onshape issue.
One tab but says more …..I wait and resolves into only one ….also problems with select origin …need to refresh version sometimes got multiples not this time so maybe solved

If Onshape says you have multiple KM tabs in a single document, your should report that bug to them. I have no control over that. But multiple tabs will also mess with your settings since they will interfere with each other.
what is is showing is multiple people edit the the same tab and then resolves but yes when that error is in play I can not go forward…One issue maybe seems like that because Onshape remembers the previous Kiri setup it requires massage of the tab data and can lead to problems….not sure I like the resident memory in Onshape with Kiri.
I only have control of what’s loaded inside the tab (which is an iframe). I cannot control whether a tab shows up in Onshape or how many.

Hi Don,
Unfortunately this sounds like a web browser / internet connectivity issue. Getting better router connectivity, ethernet connection and maybe even switching browsers would most likely help this issue.
I’m sorry we can’t do more from our side for this.
New work around…..when Kiri is jammed up because of this problem I save the kmz file, close the Onshape, and open the online Kiri version, import the kmz…..of course if needs revision of CAD model have to go back to Onshape but by that time problem should have resolved.
Do you have the Onshape document open on multiple devices at the same time?
No I am a one man show so only me will open my doc on my newer laptop…..perhaps size of my project or they have their own CAM for a fee, and you are at the end of the que…..often happens when I delete an object and reload another or open another Tab in the same document….I might have two or more tabs open in Chrome….only happens with Kiri….here are links to 3 of my Onshape tabs if you want to see if you can figure out what is going on.
If you open the same document in multiple browser tabs and those documents contain Kiri tabs, then the persistence of workspace and settings is undefined across page reloads. The KM tabs will “fight” to save over each other.

I just noticed it with Onshape with multiple tabs open …..it does not jam up the Onshape so I never noticed it…so probably a latency issue…with the added “fighting each other with Kiri” causing a problem in Kiri…..I just deleted multiple Kiri tabs as only one tab is used in Onshape or Chrome….Housekeeping/organization usually has a different tab for each part but can not do that with Kiri so the organization will have to be in my download folder with better labels …..
