for better cooling, you really need either two fans or a more powerful fan with a fancier shroud. I ended up using an orbiter for my direct drive, which I like. It’s a bit of a pain to model the mount, but it does the job.
That should work with 2.0 – it’s for a bowden setup, though
Don’t you use direct on 2.0? What model of airflow do you have?
At this point, all of my 2.0 printers have been upgraded to 2.5
I tried various direct drive configurations for 2.0, but was not completely satisfied. The 2.5 head mount is easily switchable between bowden and direct if you use an orbiter.

on the transition to version 2.5, there and the print area will increase. So I will do it in the near future.

Tell me, what kind of plastic do you print with the most? In an open case with ABS, there is a whole problem. Therefore, I print more PET-G.
for my purposes, carbon-filled PLA is best behaved. I don’t have outdoor or high temp applications.

I have studied the information on PLA carbon. In my region, for some reason, this plastic is extremely uncommon, it is even difficult to find it on sale. Buy myself to try it.
I also found a new PLA plastic with nanodiamonds from Triamet. Very cool judging by the tests.
