At some point, I felt that the cooling of my GridBot is not sufficient.
I added 5015 fan mount to improve the cooling:
Unfortunately, 5015 easily fits only to the side of the fork which is used with the BLTouch in most of the builds. No easy way (at least, I did not find one at the moment) to attach it to to the other side - intake is on one side of the fan and one have to rotate the fan. As a result, the fan interferes with X-rail:
Of course, one can design longer duct, but it would not be easy to make it nice.
If anyone is really interested - the best way would be to change BLTouch location to the other side of the fork, imho.
Since I am not using BLTouch, I adopted the 1st design and am using it now. It is blowing real hard and I need to be careful with cooling settings in order to prevent “thermal runaway” Marlin error.
