CAM- bypass Zthru extra pass and divide passes evenly

I really like the Zthru setting for CAM operations but I’d like it to be added to the full depth of my model instead of being treated as a different pass. I see that this issue has been brought up before in How Cut a Part in a Single Pass with Z-thru got addressed in a recent commit https://github.com/GridSpace/grid-apps/commit/65c2978f43f092d5199a14bb82e4abac2080199c

However, this fix only works for single full depth passes but i’d love to be able to set multiple pass operations where the cut-through pass is not added as a shallow last pass but gets added to the full depth of the model so I can cut an outline in even passes.

Any chance there’s a workaround to bypass the extra pass or any plans to implement this soon?

in 4.5 the zthru settings are included in the step down calculations instead of as an added set of passes. you can test this on the dev server.

4.5 has started to introduce webgpu dependencies for contouring and surfacing operations. Let me know how that is working for you.
