What steps to follow when in Onshape

What steps to follow when in Onshape

That’s a very vague question. What steps to do what? Install K:M? Import a part?

Thanks for answering.

I have been using Onshape for 7 years

Kiri:Moto is an application Onshape.

I select the Kiri:Moto application and folder opens along the Onshape screen.

What I expect is when click Kiri:Moto folder the folder will open with the Kiri;Moto U.I. containing

my Onsharp part. and from there I can use the Kiri;Moto tools.

What I do get is a white screen with Onshape document version column on the left

and on in the center top the following text “these are not the droids you’re looking for”

Just remembered at the start the part did open in the KiriMoto screen, then I up dated the

to the version of KiriMoto and the problem begen, is the Onshape version in compatible with Onshape ?

Any help you can give me will be good.

The latest version of K:M (4.7.1) definitely works with Onshape.

It might be helpful to post a screenshot of what you are seeing, but it sounds like K:M has ended up in a failure state.

I would suggest you load up Kiri:Moto and see if that loads up correctly. Regardless of if it does or not you might want to perform a non-cache reload of the page to reset it (ctrl + shift + R in most browsers). This might allow the Onshape app to load properly as well.

this indicates your browser has cached invalid assets or is not following a proper url. did you just add Kiri:Moto as an application recently or was that a while ago? what is your browser and operating system?

The ctrl + shift +R worked.

I now have Kiri Moto 4.7.1 tab running with in my Onshape with a simple part.

Thanks Forcaster.

Forcaster got me running with a page reset.

But to answer your question, I first installed Kiri:Moto on my Onshape maybe 5 years ago

now I have the time to learn how to use it and get a machine.

Do you have a list of Videos or articles starting from beginner you could recommend ?

Cheers Doug

That is a funny easter-egg :palm_down_hand:
