Transition Between Layers

The pocketing operation transitions between “layers” without stopping forward movement while plunging.

The outline and roughing do not do this. It looks like the “Ease Down” option is related but it doesn’t seem to be changing anything for roughing and outline.

Is there a way to get the roughing and outline operations to ramp down to the next layer without stopping forward movement?

ease-down is not fully implemented for all routing paths. this is going to be completely re-worked as part of the expected 4.0 refactor. 3.9 will be released in the next couple of weeks so that work can begin then. unfortunately, it’s difficult to accomplish cleanly with the current path structure. thus the refactor is needed.
