This part which I have to print in this unnatural orientation causes the generation of supports inside the cup.
For reference, here’s Prusa Slicer’s behaviour:

this looks like a bug specific to this part. thanks for the report. in the meantime, you can use manual supports with the “detect” button to place them.

I ended up printing it as is, it was not much to clean up. Glad the report actually helped.
You’re right, I should have given a chance to the detection feature.
