Hi my I’m pretty new to 3d printing but have been using Kiri:moto for several months.
For quite some time now I have come across an issue that whenever I try to generate supports for a print I get the message “support generation cancelled” this happens on all devices, I’ve tried multiple browsers, several different stl files. I’ve reset all cached and site data, I’ve changed the support parameters. Nothing seems to help.
Does anyone have any suggestions why this is happening. Something must have changed as it used to work fine.
Thanks in advance
Hi James,
Do you mean using the Detect button fails? I just patched that bug and pushed a fix to the dev server. Please let me know if that works for you.
Thanks
Hi.
Thanks for the response. Yes the detect button, when I use it gives me a “support generation cancelled” message and nothing happens
I’ve just tried again and it’s still happening.
on grid.space or dev.grid.space or using the electron desktop build? if using the web site, have you used shift + click on the reload button to clear your cache?
Kiri version should show as 4.4.1 as of this reply.
Hi
Using grid.space support generation cancels.
On dev.grid.space it stays. And send to be such. “analyzing parts” and never completes the support generation.
I pushed the support generation fix to 4.4.1 in production on grid.space. can you verify? and if it’s still failing, can you share the model so I can test?
