Step down and offset not working in Trace Follow (4.5)

In 4.5, I’m unable to set the offset manually. Setting step down generates no path at all. I use Step Down to create paths for chamfer paths. Attached workspace shows issue with Step Down and Offset. Both work in 4.4.

select the bottoms of the holes for trace with down. [edit] offset override fixed on the dev server.
