Selected conventional output and ease down. Does the preview depict ease down?
easy down is only active when depth first is enabled. and it’s not perfectly implemented. there are a few corner cases where it doesn’t kick in. this is a known issue on my todo list.
What does depth first mean?
it’s an output setting that attempts to clear pockets downward before moving laterally. this should result in faster, more efficient milling with fewer jump moves. when it’s not enabled, each layer is cut fully before the next. this is 100% reliable but slow.
