I was wondering if there was a way to set up an operation that clears the voids in certain inner holes, and does not clear voids (but uses tabs) in other inner holes. Currently using the “rough” operation (my holes go through the stock, so they don’t seem to be selectable when using “pocket”).

pocket operations allow you to select surfaces. but there are times when you want to select an outline instead. in those cases, use the trace operation with type set to clear. if you are using tabs, this might be an issue. I’m not sure if trace respects tabs.
