Mill pocket without paths

I would like to mill the blue marked area. I tried it with pocket but with no luck. What would you do?

Well, that is a dilemma. I was going to suggest using a trace op, but looking into your workspace, it’s clear the bottom and top of the opening are not co-planar in Z. And the reasons for this outline not being turned into a proper polygon are complex. So I cheated and selected the bottom of the part for the pocket and set a Z bottom. That only works for a single op job. And testing this revealed Z bottom was not honored for pocketing. This is an easy fix which I will push to production in a couple of hours.

Yes, it’s a die casted enclosure.
