Mac OS and loading KM

Hi Stuart,

I just thought I should give you the heads-up on a problem that’s just happened to-day,
There seems to be a problem with loading KM today on my Mac and I suspect it’s an Apple related problem.
I have a poor internet speed so I use a downloaded version of KM which worked fine last night but today KM hangs on loading.
My Mac mini M4 is set for automatic OS updates and is now running 26.4.1 version (Tahoe).
I tried running an older version of KM but the problem still exists.

I’m using the online version now, and works fine.

That’s annoying. I’ve stopped updating my Macs because Apple’s latest OS updates are, in my humble opinion, trash. I’ll see if I can replicate this on a laptop that’s less important to my daily work.

I just upgraded my M1 Macbook to Tahoe 26.4.1, downloaded the latest build (4.6.3) and ran it without issue. What problem are you seeing?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the slow response.

When loading KM the app gives a warning “kirimoto is loading” and just hangs there.

I’ve tried using an older version of KM and the problem still exists.

I have uninstalled KM and tried reloading but still the same.

I thought it was the OS update that caused the problem but this maybe just a coincidence.

I now think there are KM files being retained by Mac OS that maybe damaged that are causing my problem.

This is where my knowledge/skills run out as I don’t know how to proceed to completely remove all files for KM to make a fresh install.
