Is integrated CAD an option?

I’d like to do some joinery work where I have complete control over the movement of the endmill and its selection.

Would directly working in G-Code w/ looping and variables be an option?

Or, some sort of integration w/ something like OpenJScad where the tool movement could be simultaneously programmed/simulated? Having support for the Blockly programming mode would be perfect for me.

Hi @willadams and welcome. Access to scripting is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. No hard plans yet. And, of course, integrated CAD would be awesome. I’ve tracked some of the fully browser-based projects for a while. Nothing is close to what I would consider usable in terms of clean/simple APIs. Building the underlying parametric engines is still a huge problem, too. I wish I had a better answer.
