Import SVG to make simple pocket with CNC

My needs are always simple but I seem to always spin my wheels. I have imported an SVG - the prompt asks for a depth and visually I see the pocket in the stock I am trying to carve. But no matter what operation I choose, I cannot get Kiri-Moto to generate toolpaths. The last time I gave up - imported my SVG to Tinkercad and made a solid STL to get this to work. But surely this intuitive process should work?

Hi Bruce,

Can you drop the SVG here?

It generates an error “Failed to initialize WebGPU”

I am also confusing myself with whether I need to set the Z top and bottom limits. The stock is 15 mm thick and I want a 4mm deep pocket in the top.

It is a heart-shape, is the geometry causing a problem?

these appear to be images, not SVGs. are you attempting to contour or surface this? what is your browser and OS? to pocket a shape like this you would typically want the negative (heart is the void). so just add a square around it and then rough inside only.
