I am unable create an operation to cut half cylinders

I’m a newb to Kiri:Moto. I want to cut the W shapes from 12 mm pine. The W shapes are 127 mm x 55 mm (5" x 2"). I am struggling with the half-cylinders. They have a radius of 4 mm (5/32"). I am using KM 4.1.10. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I saw your message in Discord but replying here so knowledge can be indexed. You have a few options, but the simplest is probably to use a pocket operation and select the cylinder faces. then enable the contour feature of pocket, set step down to 0. it would help if you attached your workspace .kmz (using files → export). then I (or anyone) can play with the workspace and respond with a suggestion workspace.

This a link to the .kmz file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zySM8OltCa3yL7NaMWFiE3cLqy9lUGzj/view?usp=sharing

this would be a typical setup for this part:

  1. rough remove most material
  2. clear / contour pockets
  3. outline finish and cut out

Wow, @stewart that was fast and it looks like it does exactly what I want. Unfortunately, I am in Africa, the electricity is out, except for WiFi, so I will have to wait for a few hours to do my first cut. Thanks.
