How to include a dwell after M3?

Hi, kind of a newby question…
Running a GRBL machine.
How do I include a dwell after turning on the spindle?
My dwell macro contains ‘G4 P4’ but this doesn’t show up in the generated gcode.
If I put G4 P4 in the header it precedes M3, so it’s of no use…

can you add it to your spindle speed macro?
