How to allow tool to remove outside stock to finish work on platform

I’m struggling to find the right operation(s) or config, to remove stock from a platform.

I tried (rough and pocket), and with both options the path seems to stop early as if the tool is too big to continue, but the tool could continue working by just allowing it to go outside.

Any suggestions welcomed. thanks a lot!

Does increasing the size of the stock solve the problem? Is “inside only” checked on any of the operations? Can you attach your workspace so I can debug?

tried with and without “Inside Only” in the Rough step. same outcome.
I have now tried playing with the Stock width/depth. same outcome.

I think I got it!!!

tried with a Pocket, selecting the platform face and using the “Expand” option. (then following with and Outline to finish the job)
