When trying to cut holes in a polycarb plate, the toolpath started following the face of the plate without cutting anything. We’re using the rough operation with clear faces off, and the stock height is correct. We checked the CAM preview and it goes through the entire face as well as the holes (it said it would take 26 minutes). The inputs were the same as we usually use and we tried it on two computers with multiple different parts. We have never had this problem previously.
Does anybody know if Kiri Moto has had an update that would make this happen and would anybody know how to fix this?
We did not check clear faces. Changing the Z anchor to “top” seems to have solved the problem? Not sure why this is, since we haven’t changed any settings since last time we used Kiri:Moto.
roughing clears any space above the part. hard to say without knowing your previous setup or how long ago this was. the referenced .kmz does not contain any parts. you want to do a files --> export to produce an artifact from which I can reproduce your issues.
