Saving the configuration that produced the GCode file and being able to reload it. Is there such a feature?
Would it be possible to include all part name and settings in the GCode as a user preference.
if you customize the device then uncheck strip comments the gcode will contain more information. it is enabled by default because many grbl systems will choke on gcode comments.
you can export your workspace, device, or profile (op list) and restore them at any time. click the profile button on the right menu to export (down arrow next to file name) just that and not the entire workspace.
