I am trying to slice a stl into 6mm (1/4") thick slices and the dxf will not import or open in QCAD. I tried various dxf to dwg programs online and I am not having any luck. Any help would be appreciated
if anyone knows DXF, I’d appreciate a look. I did that using what DXF docs I could find at the time many years ago. worked for me then, but it could be a subset that some programs don’t understand.
are you able to use SVG? that export is rock solid.
