Display of coords during animation?

Hi there, I’m an avid fan of Kiri Moto & use it to make tool paths for a litte cnc machine and depend upon the excellent animation capability to see what my attempts to make a feasible toolpath have produced. :grinning:
I can’t seem to find any option to show the tool coordinates on the screen in the animation, (like I’ve seen in various screen grabs).
Is this still possible?
It’d be extremely useful for seeing whether the toolpath that’s been generated is cutting to the expected depth etc, without having to open an editor and look at the g-code.

  • Loving this fantastic software.

I removed that some time back because it didn’t seem to add value. But it could return.

My vote would be for its inclusion (possibly as an option?)…

I often use Kiri Moto for cutting out PANELS from thin sheet material, it’s splendid for that task.

It’s fantastic for cutting out the various apertures for front panel controls in one operation and such like and the TABs feature makes it a doddle to then cut out the outline without the whole thing flying off across the workshop when it finishes the cut.

But cutting to the right depth and no further is critical so that it cuts through, but not too far into the support material.

I wrote my own G-code generator program once in C# (during covid) and it took me an entire summer and it was intensely difficult and it was a buggy nightmare, haha.

So I really do appreciate how amazing Kiri Moto is. Thank you for this amazing software.

I reworked the CNC animation controls for the 4.1.2 release coming this weekend.

I also use Kiri:Moto for making thin aluminum panels and copper gaskets.
