Hello again … This is a continuation of the same steel part I want to make on my CNC machine. How do I produce a contour path on selected contours only? Currently the contour operation seems to select all the curves or more than I want. The simulation seems sort of OK but the contouring is milling more metal than I require. Is there something I can add in the filter? Got no idea how the filter works and get code to add there if that is actually what has to be done. .kmz file attached.
use the area operation in surface mode. here is an example. you can discretely surface the four areas. repeat the operation with any number of angle settings.
