I was led here from the Grid.space YouTube channel where we spoke about the potential for creating device profiles for the Bambu Lab A1 & A1 Mini printers.

Welcome! I can create a device profile for those printers based on output from Orca. What I need help with is validating that the network interfaces to these printers works the same as the P1. I hadn’t bothered to create profiles yet because I didn’t have the network parts worked out yet and A1 owners were extremely unlikely to use Kiri over Bambu Studio or Orca without that feature.
A simple test would be to download one of the pre-release binaries and see if (customizing the P1 device profile) your A1 printers show up in the Bambu manager shown in the video and then you can connect to them using the LAN code. If so, this probably means we can achieve parity between the A1 and the P1 in Kiri:Moto.
My uneducated 2 cents here, aren’t the future firmware change from bambu removing the possibility to connect to the printer directly trough lan ?
it is unclear what they may do with future printer models, but if you keep your current printers on current firmware, then they cannot remove this functionality from printers you already own.
