Possibility of having Origin at centre of one end of the stock?

There seems to be two options for the XY position of the origin; either at the centre of the stock, or one corner of the stock. Would it be possible to have more options? I would be particularly interested in the middle of one end of the stock, perhaps with the option to choose which end.

at present, only center and 0,0 with the additional option of top and bottom. the next phase of development will have more options including loading a model for stock and blocking clamping areas.
