# Export Location

Everything goes to my Download folder…Am I missing a button or setting. Would be nice to be able to load directly into the machine…swapping out a sd card is a pain. Same for loading into another software like Candle.

This is another machine / controller question. What is GRBL running on? A linux host?

Nymolabs …that is above my knowledge base …just started playing with ugs that might be what I need but …as to export from Kiri is there a way to change location on my windows 11 from the download folder…not a big thing but if I am missing something would like to know how…I would image there are better projects for you to work on…(round stock?)

If you choose to save the program locally, it will be stored in the local memory of the 4-axis CNC controller.

was looking for a usb to sdcard slot adapter cable but apparently this is another can not get there from here…I am afraid I will wear out the contacts of the sd slot on the controler sliding that sd in and out. I do have the usb to sd adaptor for loading the sd card.

you could try one of these two. I use a similar strategy for usb ports that I often plug / unplug from.
