Short answer: yes. At least I intend to. But not today. I’m closer to publishing a somewhat parametric model of the slider mechanism. ---

Four months and a few revisions later… Here is, I think, enough info to actually build a slide for real: ![iblescreencap](https://forum.grid.space/uploads/default/original/1X/9ba2f92f42aa92830a6a44c831a13bc1c12d6c45.jpeg) [A Cheap Compact Linear Motion Slide](https://www.instructables.com/A-Cheap-Compact-Linear-Motion-Slide/) That presentation starts with a handwheel-driven adaptation for a shorter path to building/using a slide of such design without a bunch of motor-related complexity, and also includes said bunch of motor-related complexity. Now, about that built-but-not-yet-tested next rev of the little mill’s XY table… and checking out Stewart’s considerable advancement of KM. ---
